Senior Insights Analyst

Casey’s is growing their Analytics Center of Excellence and looking for passionate individuals to drive insights to action across our analytical pillars – Business Insights & Analytic Solutions. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled and cross-functional team to deliver strategic outcomes to a variety of business areas using data, technology, and analytical reasoning.
As a Senior Insights Analyst, you'll partner closely with business partners, leaders, and data platform engineers to collaboratively deliver meaningful insights and analysis. You will perform and present analytical findings to all levels of the organization. As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will be a well-known leader on the team - coaching and supporting junior team members and other Community of Analysts. You will provide leadership and stewardship of all Center of Excellence analytical tools such as MarketDial (test and learn platform) and Placer.Ai (geo-spatial / foot traffic patterns). In addition, you'll work with analysts across the organization to standardize and make repeatable, reproducible analytical frameworks for marketing, category management, fuel, supply chain, operations, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult and determine desired analytical solution delivery to meet business objectives and desired outcomes. This includes statistical testing, casual analysis, trend/anomaly detection, etc.
- Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and prescriptive analysis through various techniques to story-tell, present, and operationalize analytical findings.
- Lead test & learn committee meetings to maintain and coordinate concurrent tests. Set up tests within Marketdial, educate business users of how to interact with platform, and present timely report-outs.
- Influence direction and contribute to advancing analytical capabilities & platforms, data analytic literacy, governance, and data-driven culture across the organization.
- Provide coaching to the Community of Analysts across the business while building and maintaining a relationship with various stakeholders.

This role does not allow for 100% remote work. Qualified out of state candidates must be willing to relocate and will need to live within a daily commutable distance of Casey's Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA and be willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
Compensation:
Starting pay range: $101,700 - $139,800. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for annual cash bonuses based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
QualificationsRequirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- At least five (5) years prior work experience as an Insights or Data Analyst required.
