Clinical Supervisor

Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting a Clinical Supervisor to join our clinical team in Milford, DE. The role involves providing clinical services at various levels of care. 

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing a schedule of specialized individual and group therapies for clients diagnosed with alcohol and/or other drug abuse or dependence. They oversee the day-to-day clinical operations and provide direct supervision to Program Therapists. The Clinical Supervisor operates under the guidance of their licensure, registration, and/or certification, adhering to state and Federal regulations, rules, and requirements, as well as those of accrediting organizations.

 

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, schedule to be further discussed.
• Location: On-site presence required in Milford, DE.
• Compensation: $70,000-85,000; dependent on education, credentials, and experience.

Essential Functions:

• Acts to coordinate all services and functions as the leader of multi-disciplinary Clinical Treatment Team/staffing meetings in the absence of Executive Director/Clinical Director.
• Assist Clinical Director with all duties as needed.
• Adhere to Banyan Treatment Center's Policies & Procedures, codes of conduct and ethics, and philosophy to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to clinical best practices throughout the agency and demonstrate knowledge of policies related to risk and assessment.
• Recruit, interview, evaluate, and develop clinical staff, including initiating counseling and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Deliver direct patient services such as individual and group therapy sessions, and complete necessary clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical policy and procedure development and training.
• Conduct weekly random clinical chart audits, complete QA/Compliance reports, and maintain clinical records according to policies and standards.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team and attend clinical and administrative meetings.
• Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and patients.
• Facilitate communication with ancillary services and coordinate case management services.
• Provide and coordinate Clinical On-Call services and be available for off-hours crisis and disaster response needs.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
• Participate in formulating and implementing patient treatment plans and evaluate patient care and therapeutic interventions weekly.
• Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professional and caring attitudes and behaviors toward co-workers, patients, and guests.
