What you'll do...
As a Senior Director of Software Engineering, International at Walmart Global Tech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of inventory management and forecasting solutions. Your leadership will drive the development of cutting-edge, scalable software that enhances efficiency, optimizes inventory flow, and improves forecasting accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor top-tier engineers, and implement advanced technologies to deliver high-impact solutions at an unprecedented scale. What You’ll Do• Lead innovation: Drive the development of scalable software solutions that enhance inventory management, improve forecasting accuracy, and streamline operations.• Empower teams: Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.• Collaborate strategically: Work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and business leaders to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with business goals.• Enhance performance: Oversee the quality, scalability, and responsiveness of applications, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade standards.• Drive technological advancement: Evaluate and implement the latest innovations in cloud computing, edge computing, GenAI, and machine learning.• Lead with impact: Manage large, geographically distributed teams in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.What You'll Bring:- Minimum of 12 years of total experience in technology with a minimum of 5 years in people management role.
- Experience with retail or supply chain technology.
- Previous hands on experience in Software Engineering.
- Experience in systems design and architecture.
- Experience leading large-scale, globally distributed teams in an agile environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and international environment.
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus, but not required).
