Salary: $47,500 - $53,500

Job Summary

Summary: As a Patient Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring departmental efficiencies and a safe working environment in an acute care hospital in Kansas City, MO. You will supervise a team of hourly employees in providing in-room dining for hospitalized patients. You will support the Patient Services Manager in their duties, including patient satisfaction surveys and on-site catered events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager, Fast Food Manager, Hostess, Registered Dietitian, CDM, retired military, or anyone who's interested in moving into the career-secure healthcare field. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct supervision to employees as assigned.
• Prepares work schedules and provides daily work assignments for employees.
• Monitors and ensures productivity records are posted; counsels, coaches, and provides corrective action for employees as necessary.
• Ensures a safe work environment for employees.
• Informs Patient Services Manager, Director, or Executive Chef of any problematic situations related to operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Facilities, support services, military, and/or housekeeping experience.
• Ability to identify a problem, propose solutions, and have the ability to execute possible solutions.
• Ability to make decisions regarding food production, distribution, and scheduling.
• Computer skills with Windows based office software including MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Associate’s Degree is preferred.
