Job DetailsJob Location: Holly, MI 48442Position Type: Full TimeGeneral Statement of Duties:  Coordinate the Kitchen Department of the Resident Day Program with the objective of enabling assigned residents to improve their capacity to achieve competitive employment and their capacity to maintain healthy social relationships.

Responsibilities and Duties:   

Coordinate daily of the kitchen for resident day program activities.
Provide direction to the Kitchen Work Team Support Staff to engage residents in Day Program Activities.
Support the clinical program, enabling residents to achieve treatment goals.
Actively engage residents in activities that are potentially challenging and self esteem building, with the objective of enabling each resident to arrive at work on time, to perform assigned tasks and to relate well with peers and supervisor.
Document a daily progress note in the respective residents chart, participate in treatment planning.
Report any changes in a resident’s behavior to a member of the clinical team.
Provide personal care, protection and supervision to the residents.
Provide transportation for residents as needed.
Serve as back-up to the Kitchen Manager for ordering grocery products.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school graduate.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the residents.
Capable of handling emergency situations.
Driver’s license and safe driving record.
Ability to meet certification in CPR and First Aid.
