The IT Hardware Installer's primary responsibility is to deliver and install technology assets in support of clinical, financial and related data systems and infrastructure for the desktop end-users. This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
- Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems.
- Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff.
- Installs and configures all IT related hardware including, PC's, thin clients, monitors, laptops, laser and label printers.
- Installs and configures software applications on IT hardware.
- Schedules installation appointments with users and schedules projects.
- Reassigns assets in Altiris to correct user, location, and status.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft OS and software and computer functions.
- Good driving record required to drive company van.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of system design and analysis.
- Proficiency in the various desktop operating system environments and basic desktop application suites, including word-processing, spreadsheet, and email.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated human relations and communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- A strong commitment to excellence in service.

Required
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalency.
Qualifications (Preferred)
Preferred
- Experience that includes help desk support, systems and business analysis, customer support and systems support efforts on all aspects of end-user systems.
