Qualifications, Duties, PerksWhat You Will Be Doing:
(Includes, but not limited to)
Provide guidance and practical support to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues
Support employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and performance improvement plans
Partner with managers to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience
Manage the pre‑onboarding workflow, ensuring timely completion of background checks, file setup, compliance forms, and new hire communication
Work closely with Recruitment to ensure seamless handoffs from candidate selection to Day 1 readiness
Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and HR processes with clarity, accuracy, and empathy
Analyze HR metrics and trends to support business decisions, reporting, and compliance
Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
Support ADA interactive process, coordinating accommodation requests, documentation, and follow‑through with employees and leaders
Support annual HR initiatives such as performance reviews, merit cycles, and engagement activities
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
Strong working knowledge of HR functions including CA State Hiring Laws, Onboarding, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA, ADA
Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to analyze data, create reports, and provide actionable insights
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
