Bethlehem Shared Services provides professional services exclusively for Cigars International, CIGAR.com, Pipes & Cigars, Thompson Cigar, Meier & Dutch, Cigarbid.com and its affiliates. We are the fastest growing cigar company in the country, and leading online and direct marketer of fine cigars, premium pipe tobaccos, luxury gifts and accessories, and more.


While our roots are in direct marketing, we have a strong eCommerce and growing brick and mortar retail presence. We have three (3) Retail locations in Pennsylvania, five (5) in Texas, two (2) in Florida and soon to be more.

 

Summary:

We are actively searching for a Retail Marketing Manager who will support our Cigars International organization. This role will report to our Vice President of Marketing. This role will work to increase sales, market share, and brand awareness for Cigars International organization through the development of marketing program programs, sales and trade collateral, and consumer messaging creation. The Retail Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of marketing activities and programs such as digital, experiential marketing, events, retail activations and trainings. The role will also be responsible for developing the customer path to purchase; specifically, driving brand awareness, consideration through customer acquisition and purchase, and overall customer retention. This is inclusive of defining the channel strategy working in partnership with the marketing team to determine the most efficient way to drive traffic to retail stores.

The successful individual will be someone who:

  • Develop strategic omni-channel plans that drive store traffic and sales.
  • Has experience in retail marketing with strong understanding how to drive traffic, increase spend and improve frequency of purchase and customer retention.
  • Has a track record of success and understanding and background in the mass, club, or conventional retail channels - building, planning and executing dynamic and effective retail marketing programs.
  • Is strong analytically, in planning, and has exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a working knowledge of financial concepts (profit and loss statements, retail KPIs, etc).
  • Monitor and analyze campaigns, ensuring all deadlines are met and performance meets expectations.
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency.
  • Adopt a test and learn approach to new campaigns to further the business and roll out the most effective activities as best practice.
  • Shown in past roles the ability to manage complex processes and create reports to accurately communicate progress of your initiatives.
  • Acts as a champion for the retail marketing plans to a wide range of internal stakeholders, gaining alignment and support from all parts of the organization.
  • Keeps up to date with technology trends that help enable marketing efforts and overall consumer experience.

 

 

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in offline and online marketing with campaign planning and execution responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel (including nights and weekends at times).
  • You are a self-starter with proven ability to take initiative, define what needs to get done and multi-task.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills, and an eye for all things creative.
  • You have exceptional Microsoft office suite skills, with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent people and management skills with the ability to connect programs and gather alignment across many stakeholders including cross-functional teams, senior leadership and consumers.
