Financial Analyst Advisor

Our work depends on Financial Analyst Advisor joining our team to perform specialized financial, accounting or planning activities following general project or departmental guidelines and procedures in support of various functions such as budgeting, auditing, and financial planning.

HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Responsible for performing specialized financial, accounting or planning activities following general project or departmental guidelines, procedures in support of various functions such as budgeting, auditing and financial planning. Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Provide financial insight on a worldwide contract with hundreds of funding customers and thousands of funding lines.
• Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
• Assist with the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into business.
• Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.
• Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting process.
• Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly financial contract deliverable.
• Monitor contract burn rates and funding to ensure sufficient funds available.
• Work with government funding leadership to resolve funding issues
• Provide ad-hoc reporting

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Advanced Excel skills
● Experience with Oracle and OBIEE
● Attention to detail
● Location: Remote, Hybrid

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
