Financial Analyst
Position Description:
- Support the Environmental and CARS (Chubb Alternative Risk Solutions) business units in the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Prepare/maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis files relating to production and P&L results.
- Monitor monthly production results at a detailed level, identifying potential booking errors, and providing operations corrective direction when needed.
- Utilize Chubb systems to compile data and research plan/forecast variances.
- Provide timely, insightful responses to questions and requests.
- Assist in the building and maintaining of annual plan files working with Underwriting Leadership.
- Input plan/forecast to TM1 and update as needed.
- Support branch management and underwriters, providing relevant metrics when requested.
- Perform ad-hoc projects for Home Office.
Required skills include:
- 2-3 years of Property & Casualty accounting experience
- BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Chubb systems and reporting cycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of staff/management.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
- Knowledge of Excel and Access.
- TMI experience is a plus
