Financial Analyst

Position Description:

• Support the Environmental and CARS (Chubb Alternative Risk Solutions) business units in the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.  
• Prepare/maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis files relating to production and P&L results.
• Monitor monthly production results at a detailed level, identifying potential booking errors, and providing operations corrective direction when needed.
• Utilize Chubb systems to compile data and research plan/forecast variances.
• Provide timely, insightful responses to questions and requests.
• Assist in the building and maintaining of annual plan files working with Underwriting Leadership.
• Input plan/forecast to TM1 and update as needed.
• Support branch management and underwriters, providing relevant metrics when requested.
• Perform ad-hoc projects for Home Office.

Required skills include: 

• 2-3 years of Property & Casualty accounting experience
• BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience 
• Strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Chubb systems and reporting cycle. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of staff/management.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
• Knowledge of Excel and Access.
• TMI experience is a plus
