The Role

The Software Engineer II will join DV’s Software Development team and will use industry standards and latest technologies including JAVA/J2EE to enhance our publisher products. DoubleVerify runs mission-critical systems that process billions of real-time transactions a day, hence performance and scalability considerations would guide you throughout each project. You will experiment with new and cutting-edge technologies designed for Big Data and Ad Tech solutions.

 

What you’ll do

• Join a great team of motivated engineers that develops critical high performance, large scale services for DoubleVerify's Publisher products

• Work closely with the Product team to understand product requirements

• Write solid code with the focus on high performance for production services

• Design, develop and test new features and improve existing systems

• Focus on increasing the test and monitoring coverage

• Follow agile methodologies and work in a fast-paced environment where one can quickly see the results of the work being performed

 

Who you are

• Highly proficient Java skills with 5-7 years or more of Java experience

• Good understanding of the challenges faced in distributed computing - REST APIs, fault tolerance, scalability etc

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

• Good knowledge of SQL with the ability to make data driven decisions

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and/or Docker and CI/CD deployment pipelines

• Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot Framework

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with Cloud systems (AWS , GCP) is a plus

• Experience within AdTech industry is a plus

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field a plus
