Automation Architect

What does a successful Automation Architect do at Fiserv? 

You’ll be a hands-on manager part of the Automation Framework initiative. You and your team will support building CICD pipelines for the automation frameworks to integrate within our Application Development processes. Your role will be to ensure all the automated test scripts are fully integrated and available to be executed by the development teams to achieve greatness. 

What you will do:  

• Be informed and cognizant of the key processes in the business and the business rules that affect the development and/or implementation of information systems 
• Drive continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to, team standards, test planning, resourcing and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting 
• Utilize your expertise in designing enterprise automation frameworks 
• Understand different forms of user and system requirements and translate them into test scripts 
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing with US and India teams 

What you will need to have:  

• 10+ years of experience in designing enterprise automation frameworks 
• 10+ years of experience in testing applications across web, api, desktop, mainframe interface with tools such as Postman Enterprise, Selenium, Appium 
• 5+ years of people management experience 
• 5+ years of experience setting up and executing automation scripts both ‘on-premise’ and Cloud based test environments, specifically AWS 
• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining Gitlab CICD Pipelines 
• 5+ years of practical knowledge of programming languages including Java & Python 
• 3+ years of experience with Jira, database concepts and MS Office 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
