About the role

Nexperia is an international high-tech semiconductor company with ambitious goals for the future. Considering the attention the semiconductor industry is receiving at an international level, and the importance of that for our operations in the EU, US and Asia, the company has decided to open a vacancy for the new role of Sr. International Advocacy Manager at our global headquarters in Nijmegen.

You will be functioning as a key driver to shape and deploy Nexperia’s global messaging and policy recommendations across jurisdictions, with a primary focus on EU, German and Dutch institutions.

Besides that, you will be supporting the Head of Advocacy & Alliances in planning and deploying international strategic projects.

What more will you do

  • You will be focusing on monitoring and analyzing national and cross-national policy and regulatory developments and supporting Senior Management with the preparation and deployment of Nexperia’s position on those.

  • You will ensure that other Advocacy & Alliances team members, based in other countries, are briefed, trained and aligned on the company’s position, narrative and action plans.

  • You support Senior Management with the development and deployment of strategic projects aimed at benefiting the company’s long-term interests in view of geopolitical developments.

  • You play an important role in representing Nexperia across the company’s broad stakeholder landscape in the EU, including authorities, industry associations and knowledge institutions.

  • You are a trusted advisor to Senior Management and a go-to person for other Advocacy & Alliances colleagues on cross-national topics.

  • You maintain a constructive and comprehensive international stakeholder network.

  • Supporting the company’s Strategy & Governance Department as well as Business Groups with building relations with academia and facilitating funding applications.

  • You will divide your time between different locations with a primary focus on Nijmegen and The Hague. Sporadic traveling abroad may be required.

What you will need

The ideal candidate understands the international political agendas and possesses in-depth understanding of international governmental decision-making processes.

Furthermore, you have:

  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience.

  • A master’s degree in for example international politics, public administration or law.

  • A well-organized way of working, and you can manage complex international projects.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
