What you’ll be able to do: 

Champion the quality improvement of our autonomous systems within our ADAS team and implement and drive processes to achieve ASPICE compliance both in house and at our suppliers.  Develop ASPICE compliant processes for the ADAS In House Software team.  Perform all ASPICE compliance activities such as work planning, gap analysis, process development, training and roll out, regular audits, and external assessments.  Work with ADAS suppliers to ensure Supplier processes are in place to meet ASPICE requirements.  Support suppliers in work planning, gap analysis, process improvements, audits, and external assessments to ensure full compliance to the Ford ASPICE SOW.  Provide in-house ADAS Software teams with support in the implementation of software processes in their day-to-day work. Build and create software quality metrics and ensure compliance with those metrics for both in-house and supplier generated code. Build and maintain process documentation, including process flows and checklists, in the STAGES tool.  

DAT Software Process and Quality Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI).

You'll have... 

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, engineering or a related field 
  • 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience creating QA plans, performing audits, or coaching teams; or developing and rolling out processes and methods on an ASPICE level 2+ development project
  • Requires 3 years of experience developing software using C/C++, performing or supporting software project management, or performing software integration
  • Requires 2 years of experience: using agile tools and practices; and working with Tier 1 suppliers to deliver high quality software. 
  • Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. 
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $125,778 to $172,809 per year.
