Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef. Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long life and is transitioning from a dragline strip to a truck and shovel terrace operation.

We are seeking a passionate Senior Surveyor to join our Technical Services Team reporting to the Technical Services Manager. As a senior role within a small, dedicated team, the role will include:

• Project management

• UAV Management

• UVA Technology capabilities with a CASA approved license

• People development

• Legislation compliance

• Continuously improve site surveying

About You:

• Hold a Certificate of Registration with Surveyors Board of Queensland (mining endorsement O)

• CASA Approved license

• Experience in an Open Cut environment, desirable

• Ability to lead a productive team to provide high quality data

• Excellent at retaining and managing stakeholder relationships
