The presales Engineer for enterprise identifies opportunities transforming them in concrete and sustainable business for Nokia. Develops and implements breakthrough and growth strategies to exploit market and technology trends to strongly position Nokia's IP portfolio, drives biz diversification initiatives, and creates new sales opportunities. Understands industry and key customer's business and technological drivers to tap into new areas. Additionally, the engineer will drive business diversification initiatives and create new sales opportunities, and leading proof-of-concepts with major customers in both IP MPLS and data center environments.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with significant business impact within the enterprise market in France
- Demonstrate industry knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape, particularly in data center and networking technologies.
- Identify and define new business opportunities collaboratively with account/area managers.
- Propose detailed technical solutions that effectively address customer concerns and demands, with a focus on data center networking solutions.
- Present and articulate the value proposition of Nokia's solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the market landscape.
- Lead and execute proof-of-concepts for major customers, integrating both MPLS and data center solutions.
Knowledge:
- Hands-on experience in presales/business development within the Telecommunications and Data Center networking industry.
- Demonstrates good understanding of market dynamics, business insights, and competitive landscape in both sectors.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and lead business cases.
- Solid experience in solution and consultative selling, particularly involving data center fabric technologies and networking solutions.
- Deep understanding of IP networking, cloud and data center architecture.
Profile:
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such as Nokia SRC, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, encompassing both IP MPLS and data center networking.
- Excellent knowledge of IP/MPLS, Datacenter Fabric and Cloud technologies
- Proven presentation skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.
- Highly motivated, customer-driven, and focused on customer success and excellence.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and market trends.
- Fluent in French, as customer interactions are in French, and RFQ answers are in French.
