About the Position

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated Senior Quantitative Engineer with a proven delivery record ideally in the financial domain delivering solutions on the AWS platform. The successful candidate will join a high performing team of engineers delivering world class solutions as aligned with strategic directives. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible individual with an energetic and enthusiastic approach who wishes to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment. You will also help the team leverage AI-assisted engineering approaches and modern developer tooling to increase productivity, improve code quality, and streamline the software development lifecycle.

The Analytic Services team manages analytic solutions at the heart of RenaissanceRe’s risk and underwriting strategy and supports a global userbase. The Senior Quantitative Engineer role is based in the Dublin, Ireland office and will be expected to travel occasionally to the UK and potentially to the United States and Bermuda.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with our analytic services team, PACS domain, product management, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality modelling solutions
• Design and develop analytic and modelling solutions, automated tests, documentation, and related processes to meet and exceed the requirements of partners
• Lead the technical design efforts for analytic solutions. Engage in architecture discussions at a portfolio and capital level and align solution architecture with wider enterprise architecture visions
