Who will you be joining? 

 

Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) ensures that external spend in all areas of IT and non-IT is managed in a professional and compliant way for Allianz Group. The international procurement teams negotiate global frame contracts and/or global agreements with external vendors to steer global external spending and to leverage the buying power of the Allianz Group. The „IT Infrastructure Strategic Procurement Team” is responsible for all sourcing activities of the Global Category „IT Infrastructure“ within Allianz Group.         
                                       
We seek a working student to join the "IT Infrastructure Strategic Procurement Team" at Allianz Group and support all sourcing activities within the Global Category "IT Infrastructure".  

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

• Support of strategic procurement expert in carrying out tenders and bid evaluations
• Support strategic procurement expert in process automation.
• Analysis of purchasing volumes, requirements, national and international procurement markets under
• "Total Cost of Ownership" and "Best Practice" aspects
• Close cooperation with the responsible strategic procurement expert in the definition and implementation of the product group strategy
• Creation, revision and updating of documents and information (e.g. presentations, project plans, intranet)
• Support in contract and supplier management

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

• Studies in IT, computer science, economics or comparable studies
• Very good command of written and spoken English, good command of German language is a plus
• Team orientation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year

  • Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA

• Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science and telecommunication
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
