Accounting/Finance - Sr. Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant –
Location: On-Site (Tustin, CA Office, 5 Days/Week) | Full-time | Exempt

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Tustin, CA. This full-time, exempt position will play a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager, mentoring staff, and owning parts of our month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and audit processes. • Salary: $75,000 – $80,000/year (DOE)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Lead by example and indirectly supervise Staff Accountants, AR & AP Associates
• Manage various balance sheet & income statement accounts
• Maintain and update fixed asset & depreciation schedules
• Support financial reporting and financial statement preparation
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Own credit card reconciliations and journal entries
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Controller on special projects
• Help prepare for year-end audit and other high-level finance initiatives
• Always be ready to pitch in with “other duties as assigned”— we’re a team!


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with a robust Accounting System (ERP experience preferred)
• Ability to manage priorities, problem-solve, and work both independently and collaboratively
• A team player with a willingness to wear multiple hats

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Center in Tustin, CA. You’ll be working in a comfortable office environment, with a balance of heads-down focus and collaborative energy. Must be able to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
