POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a creative and driven individual to join our team as a Podcast Series Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and promoting a podcast series focused on financial education, industry trends, and insightful discussions relevant to our audience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, podcast production, and marketing within the financial sector.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

• Research and identify relevant topics within the financial industry for podcast episodes.
• Develop engaging episode concepts, scripts, and interview questions.
• Collaborate with CMO and internal departments to ensure content aligns with company objectives and audience interests.

PODCAST PRODUCTION

• Coordinate recording sessions with guests, either in-person or remotely.
• Record, edit, and produce podcast episodes using audio editing software.
• Ensure high-quality audio and production standards are maintained throughout the process.

MARKETING and PROMOTIONS

• Work with the Creative & Social Media Manager on a marketing strategy to increase the podcast’s visibility and audience reach.
• Work with the Creative & Social Media Manager for using social media platforms, and other channels to promote podcast episodes.
• Work with the CMO to monitor analytics and feedback to optimize promotional efforts and content strategy.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

OTHER

• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to podcasting.
• Seek feedback from listeners and stakeholders to continuously improve the podcast series.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the podcast’s content, production quality and audience engagement.
• Provide a long-term sustainability plan for after the internship.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This is an on-site role, with work direction and autonomy. Work is performed largely within the Bank with limited chance of personal injury. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours. Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customers and employees. Occasional travel between offices and out-of-town/overnight business travel required. Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds of office supplies and equipment. Some bending, turning, and twisting required. Serves as a representative of the Bank at appropriate functions.
