Broad Street Home Care 

 is seeking a caregiver to provide in-home care for a client located in Park Ridge IL to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays    Purpose of Position This position works closely with the Nurse Care Manager to ensure the client receives the proper care and support needed to maintain independence and remain safely in their home. Duties may include assistance with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparations, medication reminders, accompanying to appointments outside the home, and companionship. The ideal candidate will have a stronger sense of commitment and reliability and want to make a difference in the lives of others.  

 

Position Requirements 

• Ability to pass the Illinois Department of Healthcare Registry Background check
• Must possess the ability to navigate a phone application in order to clock in and out as well as enter case notes
• Ability to work and relate with the ill, elderly, and disabled population
• Demonstrate the ability to be a strong team player
• Ability to work independently and when circumstances warrant the ability to make decisions
