We’re seeking kind, dedicated Caregivers (CNA/PCA) to join our mission of helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. In this role, you'll provide one-on-one, non-medical care that allows clients to age in place with dignity while building meaningful relationships along the way.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, linen changes, and ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
- Provide compassionate support to clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Deliver dedicated assistance to bed-bound clients
- Provide assistance with meals
- Provide caring support to clients receiving hospice care
- Assist clients with low vision
- Provide palliative care support to clients
- Transportation for appointments and errands
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Possess a valid and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required) or
- Possess a valid and active Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification (required) or
- Possess a valid and active Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) license (required)
- A minimum of 6 months of full-time experience OR
- A minimum of 12 months of part-time experience providing hands-on care to geriatric or chronically ill persons
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Proof of current TB testing
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
- Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state), fingerprinting, and drug screening tests
