About the role
 

  • Our Mine Maintenance department, composed of approximately 64 people, is integrated with the Mine Operations and Mine Utility teams and focuses on safe and reliable operation and minimal downtime of all mine assets in collaboration with the overall mine production budget.
  • The Mine Maintenance Electrical Stock Planner must maximize the effective utilization of the hourly workforce by planning and scheduling maintenance work to enhance availability of mine assets. They must also ensure that material requirements for the completion of a work order are correct and purchased with cost effectiveness in mind.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • To maximize the effective utilization of the hourly workforce by planning and scheduling maintenance work to enhance availability of rolling stock diesel equipment in mine. 
    • Must ensure that material requirements for the completion of a work order are correct and purchased with cost effectiveness in mind.
    •  Workflow is structured around meeting the needs of the internal customers using the number of work orders that are at the “ready to schedule” status. 
    • Decisions relating to material availability, responding to failure trends, and daily planning decisions are the responsibility of this position. 
    • Independent action is allowed in production, maintenance and purchasing departments to include design changes.  
    • Ensures that spare parts are available to minimize down time of panel equipment. 
    • This position has a direct impact on the ability of the hourly workforce to maintain equipment to a standard.
  • We offer onsite working a 4/10 schedule.

 

About you

 

  • High school diploma required.
  • Two years of recent (at least one year of experience within the last two years) diverse underground maintenance.
  • Must possess the ability to function in an environment of high demands and be able to meet the immediate needs of the workforce with sound judgment based on historic successes.
  • Must have a high level of accuracy in planning estimations and associated cost forecasts.
  • Must be able to effectively schedule a high percentage of the available hourly workforce man hours and minimize the amount of unanticipated job delays and downtime of diesel equipment.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain Wyoming Mine Examiner and Mine Foreman papers.

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $90,880/yr to $113,600/yr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
