Boone Memorial Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. Who We Are

Boone Memorial Health (BMH) is a growing, rural Critical Access Health System located in Madison, West Virginia. At the core of our system is a 25-bed inpatient hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department, which is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. We are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community, ensuring patients have access to essential services without needing to leave the region.

Qualifications

  • Active WV Registered Nursing License

  • BLS certification (required)

  • ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain—training provided)

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

  • Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and effective care

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with the nursing process

  • Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care

  • Accurately document patient information using electronic medical records

  • Respond to emergency situations and code calls promptly and effectively

  • Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
