Position Description
Oversees shipping and receiving materials for the Distribution Center and processes shipping and receiving documents.
Job Responsibilities
- Contacts trucking lines, customers, and internal support to schedule pick up and delivery
- Creates and approves manifest of raw and finished materials and checks releases to ensure orders are complete and ready to ship to meet schedules
- Enters, views and verifies data using various computer programs and maintains accurate records
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Locates, picks, packs and moves materials using material handling equipment, and maintains equipment
- Expedites parts, and creates and approves manifests of raw and finished materials
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
- Ability to use computers
- Ability to operate and maintain material handling equipment
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
