Your Role
We are looking for a Junior Trade Marketing Manager for the Veterinary Channel, who will report to the Sales Development Manager for France. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales and product visibility across the two main networks: Click & Collect and Brick & Mortar. Additionally, the Jr. Trade Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Key Account Manager to support wholesalers, GIEs, and groups, leading activation topics when relevant.
You will also take responsibility for organizing veterinary congresses, managing events, materials, and presentations while relying on technical input from Veterinary Affairs experts.
You’ll work closely with the Key Account Manager Team, Sales Team, Veterinary Affairs Manager, marketing, operations, Diet Brand Manager France and other departments.
What you will do
● Category and Brand Expertise: Act as the primary expert for the veterinary channel, focusing on innovation and product launches.
● Category Vision Development: Define and implement the category strategy in alignment with brand teams in France.
● Wholesaler and Group Engagement: Collaborate with Key Account Managers to support wholesalers, GIEs, and groups providing the right material to the sales team.
● Veterinary Congresses and Events: Organize congresses, including materials and logistics, while collaborating with technical experts for content.
● Promotional Strategy: Design and execute distribution, assortment, merchandising, and promotional plans to support sales team visiting clinics.
● Campaign Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on trade marketing initiatives to improve effectiveness and ROI.
● Collaboration with Veterinary Affairs: Partner with technical teams to develop accurate materials and support sales training initiatives.
● Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with AFVAC and other key external partners, with internal team support, especially marketing.
● Budget Management: Oversee the trade marketing budget for material production initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and results.
● Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with field teams, customer service, and other internal stakeholders to implement promotional activities.
What we are looking for
● Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Business/Marketing/Veterinary School ideally with more than 3 years of experience in trade marketing, category management, or brand management roles.
● Highly desirable: Proven expertise in the veterinary channel. Experience in the pet food, animal health sectors is highly desirable.
● Analytical skills and a keen interest in working with numbers.
● Results-Oriented: Highly motivated to achieve commercial objectives.
● Fluent in both French and English to collaborate with marketing teams and other markets.
