Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an Immunology Staff Scientist to serve as a Lead Investigator and conduct basic and applied research on specified bacterial threats in support of the BD and infectious disease program. The successful candidate will work in BSL-3 laboratories and handle controlled substances, thus must hold and maintain BPRP and CS-PRP status.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conducting and assisting in research on bacterial threats.
• Performing immunological assays and analyzing immune profiles.
• Assisting in planning and conducting animal experiments.
• Preparing laboratories for safety and regulatory inspections.
• Providing technical support for ongoing research projects.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Providing monthly scientific support reports.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Ph.D. with significant research experience in the fields of immunology or vaccinology.
• U.S. Citizen 
• Must pass NACI background check.
• Must be willing to work in a BSL 3/4 laboratory.
• Must be eligible to enroll in the BPRP and CS-PRP programs.

• Proficiency in performing immunological assays.

Salary Range: 

$128,700.00 - $231,700.00
