Senior Trade Analyst

Kellanova is seeking a Senior Trade Analyst for the Away From Home (AFH) Business Unit. You will join a high-performing, collaborative team and play a crucial role in driving organizational growth. This hybrid position is based in Naperville, IL, with remote options available.

 

As a key member of the Away From Home Team, you will execute trade strategies across all channels, drive profitable growth, and implement efficiency plans to achieve our business objectives. You will also collaborate seamlessly with internal and external customers, driving strategic and sustainable growth alongside cross-functional teams within the AFH division.
 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing  

 

• Trade Strategy – With the support of teammates, the trade strategy and plans will be implemented and communicated across all AFH channels. This role will ensure customer contracts and initiatives align with AFH channel objectives, are profitable, well-organized, and properly executed.
• Sales Strategy – Build customer sales and performance-based trade allocation models to support customer business plan initiatives. Provides guidance and direction to the sales team to ensure trade dollars drive performance and profitable growth in alignment with the strategic business plan.
• Drive Engagement – Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Commercial Strategy, Sales Finance, Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management), to execute trade pricing and promotion principles ensuring programs are fiscally sound and support customer and channel growth plans.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With 

 

• Proven experience in the Food Service or Convenience market segments and understanding of customer dynamics

• Technical proficiency required in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build detailed models and reporting
• SAP experience
• Strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and confidence
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• A growth mindset with the ability to manage and resolve conflict and adapt to an ever-changing environment

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $92,480 - $121,380, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
