Your Specific Responsibilities:

Responsible for auditing travel reimbursement vouchers in FLAIR.  Assure receipts/ invoices submitted meet travel guidelines, Reference Guide for State Expenditures and departmental policies.

Responsible for assisting with FLAIR data entry and voucher summary reports for the travel section.

Responsible for processing corrections on returns or deletions by the Chief Financial Officer, or by the Travel Supervisor.

Research inquiries for auditors, employees, and other authorized personnel.  This requires the ability to use the FLAIR system, the STMS system, and records maintained within the Bureau of Finance & Accounting.

Responsible for verifying vouchers daily.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of the FLAIR accounting system and state disbursements procedures. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the use of database software. Incumbent must have a clear understanding of auditing principles and methodology.  Incumbent must have excellent customer service skills and be able to solve problems using a logical methodical approach
