Job Description
Senior Software Development Architects for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the US (HQ: Chicago, IL). Architect software for call authentication and identity management delivered as web services for large-scale, carrier-grade solutions. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain stateless microservices in various environments (Public, Private Cloud, On-premises in customer domain) using continuous integration/delivery. Carry out innovative and creative solutions based on emerging global market needs. Contribute to improving best practices to deliver high quality solutions, leveraging open source tools, toolkits, and utilities with automated builds, tests, and deployments. Collaborate with system architects, project managers, product managers, and operations. Participate in direct customer interactions and create solution design documents for customers. Technical environment: VoIP (SIP); identity management (ENUM, CNAM); call authentication (STIR and SHAKEN protocols); architecting, writing, and maintaining large-scale (thousands of transactions/second) web services in Go and Java (including Spring Boot); creating call authentication services adhering to the ATIS and 3GPP standards; cryptography, encryption, PKI, and digital certificate management.
Job Requirements
*Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in cloud architecture required. Required skills: experience with VoIP (SIP); identity management (ENUM, CNAM); call authentication (STIR and SHAKEN protocols); architecting, writing, and maintaining large-scale (thousands of transactions/second) web services in Go and Java (including Spring Boot); creating call authentication services adhering to the ATIS and 3GPP standards; cryptography, encryption, PKI, and digital certificate management. Telecommuting permitted; up to 10% travel required. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in cloud architecture also acceptable.)
