THE JOB:
As a Busperson at Spago, you will be the backbone of our legendary dining experience, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our beautifully designed restaurant, from the dining room to the storerooms and beverage stations. Your sharp eye for detail and commitment to upholding our cleanliness and stock standards are crucial in creating a welcoming and polished atmosphere for both guests and staff. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Bellagio Fountains, Spago is Wolfgang Puck’s flagship fine dining restaurant, recognized for revolutionizing the Las Vegas culinary scene. Here, you’ll be immersed in the vibrant energy of a restaurant renowned for its exceptional service and innovative menu. Picture yourself among elegant décor, where Puck’s signature California fare comes to life, featuring handmade pastas, wood-oven pizzas, and the freshest seafood and prime steaks—all inspired by his weekly visits to the Santa Monica Farmer's Market.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.6747 hourly + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
Perform other job-related duties as requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
