In 2024 we partnered with Georgia-based D&L Electric, a professional electrical contractor with nearly 20 years of experience installing and servicing all types of electrical systems required for commercial and Industrial facilities as well as new construction. D&L Electric's team of seasoned professionals are committed to offering the most reliable services and systems to meet client needs from commercial lighting and new construction, to power distribution systems, tenant build outs, general electrical installations and more.

The D&L Electric team is seeking a best-in-class Electrician’s Assistant willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!

What you will do…

• Assist journeyman and master electricians with the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and components
• Pull wires, install conduit and mount electrical panels, boxes or devices under supervision
• Transport tools, materials and equipment to and from job sites, maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures, always wearing appropriate PPE, helping to maintain a safe work environment
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites
• Maintain inventory supplies and report material shortages to supervisor
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and communicate progress to supervisors

What you will need to succeed…

• Hard working and willingness to learn with a “Can-do” attitude
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Mechanical / technical aptitude with strong reading and basic math skills
• Punctual and reliable with good communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Pass an initial alcohol, drug, and background screening & ongoing thereafter
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required

The physical demands described within are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
• Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
• Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors.

The base pay range for this position is 22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
