The Integrated Work Control (IWC) Division is looking for a Fleet Preventative Maintenance coordinator (Senior Planner) to support the fleet work planning and execution team at the NNSS.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track preventative maintenance (PM) activities across fleet assets to ensure timely execution and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Create and update PM’s using IBM Maximo, monitor work order completions and recurring service intervals.
- Provide status of PM Work Packages as they move through the approval/closeout process.
- Serve as liaison between fleet operations, maintenance teams, and work control to align PM activities with operational availability and resource planning.
- Interface with engineers, work control planners, facility representatives, and planning teams for various facilities.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of PM procedures, checklists, and documentation to enhance fleet reliability and workability.
- Generate reports and dashboards reflecting PM status, overdue tasks, trends, and compliance metrics for management review.
- Process PM Change Requests and request job plan revisions.
- Update assets, frequency, charge numbers, dates, and assign job plans, within PM module.
- Identify and resolve errors and discrepancies within PM Program.
- Maintain databases for performance measurement.
- Prepare, review, and issue corrective maintenance, and/or preventive maintenance work packages in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
- Maintain PM schedule start dates, print/generate work packages and provide to work groups for execution of work.
- Perform various functional and administrative activities in conjunction with the primary duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in field related to the position or equivalent training and experience plus a minimum of 5 years of progressive related experience.
- Previous experience with IBM MAXIMO or similar computerized maintenance management system is preferred.
- Previous experience with PM programs, including scheduling, job plan coordination, and compliance tracking is preferred.
- Previous experience working within fleet operations or maintenance is preferred.
- Previous experience with managing preventative maintenance.
- Able to use personal computer, printers, copiers, scanners, telephones, fax machines, calculators, and other general office equipment.
- Able to follow oral and written instruction and follow through on all assignments.
- Able to apply knowledge of a broad range of specialized functions and assist in coordinating activities with those of other work groups.
- Able to demonstrate creativity in how work is performed and in addressing work processes.
- Able to plan/organize work to complete in the most efficient manner and meet required deadlines.
- Able to deal with pressure of handling multiple tasks, complaints, frequent interruptions, and time constraints.
- Knowledge of basic math, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- The primary work location will be at the Nevada National Security Site (located 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada).
- Position requires regular travel to forward areas located in the NNSS.
- Work schedule will be 4/10s, Monday-Thursday (Subject to Change).
