What you will do: 


accessiBe is seeking a technical, scrappy, analytical, and operationally minded Revenue Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. This pivotal role will oversee revenue recognition and lead the order-to-cash (OTC) operations, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and alignment with the company's financial goals. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, thrives in a startup environment, proficient in both technical and operational revenue accounting, and is experienced in navigating complex lead-to-cash processes.


You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Customer Success team, leveraging your deep understanding of Salesforce CRM to ensure seamless processes and accurate reporting. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, driving efficiencies, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end revenue accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and company policies. 
  • Oversee the order-to-cash lifecycle, including contract review, billing, collections, and revenue recognition processes.
  • Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Legal teams to understand deal structures and ensure appropriate revenue treatment.
  • Ensure accuracy in Salesforce CRM data, working closely with RevOps to maintain clean, auditable workflows from lead to booking.
  • Prepare and review monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
  • Support ERP integrations and work closely with IT to streamline financial systems and reporting.
  • Support annual audit related to revenue recognition and controls.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the revenue cycle.
  • Analyze revenue trends and provide actionable insights to Finance leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor and manage junior staff as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, with at least 2 years in SaaS or tech industry
  • Strong expertise in ASC 606 and lead-to-cash operations. 
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal control
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce CRM, including quote-to-cash workflow and data integration with financial systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP preferably NetSuite. 
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and driving initiatives independently.
