Protection Analyst, Enterprise AI

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  
• 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  
• Experience working with SQL, coLaboratory, or Python.
  
• Experience in data analysis and working with datasets or LLMs.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
  
• 5 years of experience in large-scale data analysis.
  
• 2 years of experience or familiarity with machine learning systems.
  
• Knowledge or experience in a relevant domain (e.g., anomaly detection, security threats analysis and investigation, abuse detection, time-series analysis, metrics and reporting) and strong understanding of AI principles, algorithms, and techniques.
  
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, R, Julia, C/C++, Java, SQL).
  
• Excellent communication skills.

The Enterprise AI Protection team enables the rapid growth of Google Cloud and Workspace AI businesses by curbing associated safety risks. As a technical analyst working on safety analysis and evaluation of GenAI models and filters, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, robustness, and security of Cloud and Workspace AI systems. In this team, you will be working at the forefront of analyzing Google's AI products' safety issues, collaborating globally and cross-functionally with AI development teams, and being the first to get access to the latest AI innovations. You will be part of advancements shaping the future of AI technology.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
