Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join the IT team to manage IT project timelines and delivery. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the organization to improve methodologies for assigned projects and support strategic priorities within the IT department. You’ll identify risks and clearly communicate goals to project stakeholders, driving projects through completion. What you’ll do:
- Drive project schedules and manage resources in all aspects of projects including planning, development, testing, marketing, etc.
- Create project designs, project plans, and project definitions
- Submit weekly project status reports and communicate timeline changes, while escalating risks/issues to stakeholders
- Create release plans, release readiness, and release coordination
- Conduct project health checks, remove roadblocks, and communicate changes that affect scope, quality, or timelines; escalating project issues to stakeholders and executives accordingly
- Manage deliverables from multiple departments and external vendors
- Identify risks, develop a risk mitigation plan and gain buy in from stakeholders
- Prioritize initiatives within the program and surface risks and trade-offs as well as recommendations to the stakeholders.
- Act as a change agent for new initiatives with peers and project teams
- Develop, lead, and mentor others on PMI standards
- Motivate and inspire project teams to create exceptional quality outputs
What we’re looking for:
- 4-year college degree in a technical field, statistics, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of project and process implementation, managing all sizes of projects in a balanced or strong matrix organization
- PMP, MPM, PgMP or equivalent certification required
- Clear understanding and experience in managing projects to meet targeted corporate OKRs
- Ability to lead cross-functional discussions to review, assess risks & mitigations
- Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical key points.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.
- Experience managing IT or similar projects in multiple project methodologies including Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and hybrids
- Experience working in a cross functional team environment with internal and external stakeholders and at all levels.
- Understand and adheres to PMO best practices
- Ability to gather and analyze data to inform decisions, creating and disseminating high-quality reports to stakeholders
- Possess high attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify errors
- Strong communication skills to keep stakeholders well-informed of projects
- Ability to foresee and plan ahead, proposing creative solutions to problems
- Ability to collaborate, influence, and motivate others to further company objectives
- Work efficiently on assigned projects with minimal supervision and manages goals through planning and prioritization
- ITIL certification is a plus
- Requires travel as needed to support other locations and cross-location projects
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $121,600-$167,200. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
