Position Purpose: The Senior Accessibility Operations Specialist works collaboratively with Agile teams to plan prioritize and test our digital experiences for compliance with accessibility standards (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 AA). Need a strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and guidelines.

  • Proactively build stakeholder relationships to help gain visibility around potential accessibility work.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Develop and oversee the comprehensive accessibility testing strategy, including planning, execution, and documentation across all digital platforms.
  • Design and implement accessibility testing frameworks and methodologies that align with the organizational goals.
  • Mentor and train junior accessibility testers, developers, and design teams on best practices in accessibility.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to create innovative solutions that anticipate and resolve accessibility issues before they arise.
  • Ensure all products and platforms comply with WCAG 2.2 AA or higher standards and other relevant accessibility laws and guidelines (e.g., ADA, Section 508).
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to embed accessibility into the product development process from the outset.
  • Create and maintain detailed accessibility reports, documenting test results, defect tracking, and remediation recommendations.
  • Stay at the forefront of accessibility trends, tools, and technologies to continuously refine and improve testing process.
  • Advocate for the importance of accessibility within the organization, driving a culture of inclusivity and universal design.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

One or more of the following skills are desired.

  • Knowledge of Expert knowledge of WCAG standards across versions and compliance levels
  • Experience with Adaptive technologies including screen readers, magnifiers, pointing devices, and input devices
  • Experience with Testing frameworks and tools including linting tools, test automation tools, color-contrast tools, and code browsers
  • Experience with Working with both designers during design phase and engineers during development phases.
  • Knowledge of Front-end digital technologies including HTML, CSS, JS, and ARIA
  • Experience with Testing mobile applications - both Android and iOS
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and working with multiple agile teams in an enterprise context
  • Experience with Delivery and development platforms including backlog management, project management, defect management, and time tracking

Pay Range: $85,300.00 - $158,100.00 per year
