Registered Nurse (RN), Forensics Med/Surg Telemetry Unit, Sign on Bonus

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Forensic Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg in Nashville, Tennessee. We are offering up to a $10,000 sign on bonus. Day or Night shifts available.  

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. 

As a Forensic RN you will be responsible for:  

• Compassionately communicating with patients and family members. 
• Admitting and assessing patients
• Administering medication and treatments
• Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
• Running and ordering tests
• Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
• Charting Patient Progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state. 
• Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
