Key Responsibilities (partial list): 

• Represent yourself consistent with Goettl standards for punctuality, experience, and appearance.
• Provide an amazing experience for your customer on every job.
• Actively participate in ongoing technical training. Ensure the customer’s home is adequately protected with the appropriate covering for all work performed.
• Remove and replace all equipment and materials in a safe, clean, organized, and efficient manner.
• Assist the installer with completion of all required signatures, related documentation, and collection of outstanding balances from the customer.
• Assist the installer with gathering installation metrics, including static pressure, refrigerant charge, and amperage draws.
• Finish all work within the allocated time for the job.

Requirements

Job Requirements for an HVAC Installer Apprentice:

• Proven ability to work within a team environment and be committed to professional growth. 
• 1-2 years of HVAC field experience strongly preferred, other trade roles will be considered
• Must have EPA Certification ( Level II or Universal Certification) or ability to obtain within 60 days
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs. and bend, stoop, stand and crawl for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and small spaces. 
• Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record 
• Must be over 18
• For your safety, you must be able pass a pre-employment drug screening (including Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, Propoxyphene, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone).  Medical marijuana card is not eligible for exclusion. 
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check. 
• Ability to provide a basic set of your own tools
• Must have flexibility to work schedule (days and hours including some nights and weekends)
