Clinical Supervisor - SUD (LMSW or LPC)

Provides oversight of clinical services within the SUD and Family Engagement Therapy/Recovery Management counseling programs. Provides at least biweekly clinical supervision to direct reports. Provides marketing assistance for programs within Counseling Integrated Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and direct overall Philosophy of Treatment for SUD/Counseling Services.
- Provide leadership by:
- Providing at least bi-weekly supervision of clinical staff.
- Leading FET/RM team meetings to be held at least biweekly.
- Ensuring paperwork and related documentation requirements are completed in the time frames required.
- Ensuring consistent process application and oversight of service authorization and revenue collections are completed in the time frames required.
- Review all designated written reports as needed.
- Educate and direct staff in agency policies, procedures, and principles of teamwork, as needed.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback as required.
- Meet with contract vendors to assure all contract standards are met, as needed.
- Work cooperatively with the Community Services team to assure that services are being delivered with excellence.
- Participate in scheduled audits, as needed.
- Provide ongoing training for Integrated Counseling Teams.
- Coordinate intern experiences with clinicians, as needed.
- Assist in the orientation of new employees to the Integrated Counseling Team, as needed.
- Conduct assigned intake assessments for counseling, completing all required paperwork.
- Provide individual, family and/or multi-systems therapy for assigned clients.
- Maintain appropriate and timely progress notes and files on each client.
- Develop Treatment Plans, Quarterly Reviews, Discharge Summaries, Clinical Progress Notes, and other documents as required by contract.
- Coordinate the transfer/discharge process for the client and family, informing Outreach Clinical Supervisor, and necessary support staff of projected transfer/discharge goals.
- Monitor the quality of overall treatment services to clients on their caseload; and evaluate the adequacy of these services to meet treatment objectives. Communicate effectively with Wedgwood’s Psychiatric services regarding clinical as well as case management/financial issues as needs arise.
- Provide training for counseling staff as well as master’s level Clinicians throughout the Agency that can be arranged with the Wedgwood Institute.
- Work collaboratively with referral sources to provide excellent clinical care with resources available.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring utilization and outcome data, including quarterly reporting for the all-agency report card.
- Responsible for quality assurance compliance, including but not limited to participating in peer supervision, peer utilization reviews, compliance with service delivery criteria and reporting requirements for each individual served.

- Use the knowledge and skills of his/her supervisor to increase understanding of treatment programming and leadership skills to further professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
- Full Licensure (LMSW/LPC) required.
- Clinical experience working with adolescents and/or families preferred.
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency.
- Required to provide proof of certification within applicant's defined area: Certified Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist, Limited License Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor.
- Additional therapeutic certifications preferred (i.e. DBT, TFCBT, etc.) but not required.
- Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team preferred.
- Required to provide proof of registration and license.
- For transportation purposes must have a valid driver's license.
- SPADA certification preferred and Certification or registered Development Plan from Michigan Certified Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) required.
