Job Description:
As an Enterprise Architect specializing in the Manufacturing Industry, you will serve as a trusted advisor and domain expert, utilizing your extensive technical skills and deep industry knowledge to support our sales teams. Your mission is to develop compelling Salesforce value propositions that align with our customers’ strategies for digital transformation and cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer-Centric Expertise: Engage with clients as a subject matter expert in the manufacturing industry focusing on one or more sub-industries such as discrete manufacturing, heavy equipment OEMs, process manufacturing.. Leverage your understanding to craft solutions that meet their unique needs and cater to their long term business goals.
- Technical Leadership: Harness your broad knowledge in business strategy, application architecture, data integration, security, cloud computing, and analytics to guide clients through their transformation journeys.
- Innovative Solutions: Determine the best Salesforce and third-party technologies to integrate into customer architectures, drawing on industry standards and Salesforce methodologies.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to develop industry-specific, repeatable propositions and go-to-market strategies that resonate in the manufacturing vertical.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead workshops, educational sessions, and industry summits, sharing best practices and reference architectures with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Your Impact:
- Trusted Advisor: Build strong relationships with C-suite executives, primarily CIOs, CTOs, and Chief Architects, guiding their selection, implementation approaches and value realization from cloud architecture solutions.
- Secure Trust: Earn the confidence of prospects’ and customers’ CISOs and Chief Risk Officers by demonstrating a deep understanding of security protocols and risk management.
- Engagement and Enablement: Conduct architecture and technical workshops, ensuring customers are well-equipped to leverage Salesforce technology effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various Salesforce teams, including cloud specialists and product marketing, to create impactful initiatives.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor junior technical resources, fostering a culture of growth and innovation within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Multi-year experience in either software, system or enterprise architecture disciplines
- Good understanding of the architectural principles of cloud based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
- Good understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures
- Good understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL environments as well as common EA topics such as process orchestration, BPM, CEP, MDM, BI/BA, etc.
- A good understanding of the security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications
