Cytokinetics is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Contractor) to join our Global Talent Acquisition team. This role will play a critical part in supporting G&A and other business functions in the United States.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiter who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and can partner closely with hiring leaders, HR colleagues, and external agencies. You will help attract, engage, and hire top talent who align with Cytokinetics’ mission, values, and culture, while delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
This role is hybrid with on-site expectations at our South San Francisco HQ. The contract duration will be until the end of year with potential extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based roles, primarily supporting G&A functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT, and Facilities) and other business areas as needed.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development and negotiation, and coordination through onboarding.
- Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies for a variety of corporate roles, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, targeted outreach, referrals, and other creative sourcing techniques.
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for both current and anticipated hiring needs, including hard‑to‑fill and niche skill sets.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring priorities, define role requirements, and provide consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive landscape to support data‑driven hiring decisions.
- Manage and collaborate with external recruiting agencies as needed, ensuring alignment with hiring goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable U.S. employment laws, company policies, and evolving business needs.
- Manage and optimize recruiting activities within Workday Recruiting, ensuring accurate data, compliance, and a high-quality candidate experience.
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition and HR teams to drive consistent, scalable recruiting processes and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a global organization; experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or a similar regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for G&A / corporate functions and/or other functional areas across multiple job families and seniority levels.
- Strong sourcing expertise, including advanced use of LinkedIn Recruiter and proactive pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience using Workday Recruiting or similar applicant tracking systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence, advise, and partner with senior leaders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; comfortable operating in a matrixed, fast‑moving environment with evolving priorities.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days in a hybrid capacity at Cytokinetics’ South San Francisco headquarters.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting periods of rapid growth, organizational change, or temporary talent needs.
- Knowledge of employer branding and best practices for engaging passive talent in competitive U.S. markets.
- Experience working with external search firms and managing contingent recruiting support.

Pay Range:
In the U.S., the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $60.00 - $75.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.Our employees come from different backgrounds, and we celebrate those differences.
