Essential Functions

• Sample processing
• Sample Check in
• Sample reconciliation
• Centrifuge operation
• Label and pour off samples
• Create worklists
• Distribute samples to work areas
• QCs lab reports
• Manual entry of reference lab results
• Troubleshoot sample/order problems
• Off-site liaison
• Specimen identification
• Documentation in log book record
• Data entry
• Faxing and mailing results
• Telephone interaction
• Lab report generation and distribution
• General filing
• Answer telephone and take messages
• Order general operation supplies
• Distribute lab supplies
• General housekeeping of area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Data Entry Experience preferred
