The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $21.03 to $23.31.
This position is Non-Exempt under the FLSA.

The Probation Administration Assistant uses their administrative and organizational skills to provide administrative support to the Juvenile Probation Department. You will work with a team of highly committed professionals who envision a future where all youth are connected to the community, a contributing members of society, and accountable for their behavior.

The Juvenile Probation Department of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County is dedicated to providing innovative and efficient juvenile justice services grounded in evidence-based practices and research. Position Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Two (2) years of general clerical experience
OR
Combined Education and Experience Qualifications:
Post-secondary education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
Our Preferred Candidate Has:
Bilingual in both Spanish and English
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology
Principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Skill in:
Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
The operation of office equipment such as fax machine, printer/copier, and computer terminals
Using effective time management to handle multiple tasks at one time with numerous interruptions
Ability to:
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Department’s role in supporting the Probation Department’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Maintain high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions
Analyze, interpret, and apply complex information
Accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports
Prioritize and manage multiple assignments efficiently
Learn and master core business and support applications
Process and handle sensitive confidential information with discretion
Learn new skills necessary to support the needs and the mission of the Department and the Court
