1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Job Summary:
Assist Department Supervisor in assigning/delegating work, coordinating the safe and efficient operations of the department to meet operational goals (Strokes/Parts per min, 100% Quality, No Injuries/Near Misses, New Hire Training initiatives, 100% on-time delivery, etc..) to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
· Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve safety, production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
· Enforce safety regulations.
· Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, die setters, and operators.
· Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
· Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
· Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
· Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
· Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced workers.
· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
· Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.
· Train/ Set up employees in Plex
· Print labels
· Assist in problem solving/ Corrective Actions
· Assist in developing work instructions
· Perform time studies
· Ability to assist supervisor in daily operations
· Must be able to multitask
· Ability to give clear direction and communication
· Train on Quality Alerts/Sign Off
· Follow all PPE & safety protocols as outlined in TTD handbook
· Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Minimum Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
· Experience with high volume resistance welding in a manufacturing environment
· Experience with robotic welding in a manufacturing environment
· Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
