The Position
Roche Diagnostics Corporation seeks a Technical Project Manager at its Indianapolis, Indiana location.
Duties: For a medical diagnostics company, identify and analyze customer requirements and system capabilities for the implementation of diagnostics system products. Direct and coordinate resources, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely project progress while meeting project performance parameters. Responsible for project management for Roche Diagnostics IT product solution installations at customer sites. Implement RDC products and interfaces with customer systems. Prepare and fulfill detailed biomedical system specifications for installation and integration with customer applications (LIS, EMR, etc.) and/or solutions. Conduct pre-implementation, implementation, and post-project review meetings for customers with internal stakeholders to manage expectations, identify risks, and formulate plans to minimize impacts on large and complex projects. Perform system configuration, testing, troubleshooting and repairs for Roche’s biomedical/diagnostic information technology solutions while ensuring that system hardware, software security, and networking requirements are met to adhere to industry and company standards. Perform system troubleshooting validation during installation through the post deployment phases to ensure that functionality and utility standards adhere to installation plans and customer requirements.
Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Biotechnology or closely related field, and 6 years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Requirements Engineer, Project Manager, LIS Analyst, Laboratory IT or closely related occupation.
Specialized Experience: Employer requires 6 years of experience in each of the following areas:
Information technology project management ranging from system analysis, implementation support and configuration assistance.
Systems and applications software design, testing, validation, and configurations management
Biotechnology clinical laboratory IT tools, environments, and work processes/methodologies
Healthcare domain integration standards: Health Level 7 and American Society for Testing and Materials
Laboratory Middleware implementations
Process frameworks: Scaled agile framework
Technical skills within product groups such as: Microsoft SQL, Apache, MySQL, and Security
Intersystems Cache and IRIS
Server and network management using VMWare, Fortinet
Up to 25% domestic travel required, fully-reimbursed. Telecommuting allowed up to 5 days per week.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in Indianapolis, Indiana is $137,088 to $178,800. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
