Job Duties and Qualifications

Under broad direction, manage the global tax technology function. 

 

Job Duties

• Develop and implement tax technology strategies to optimize internal and outsourced global tax operations and to improve efficiency / accuracy of tax reporting and compliance through automation, standardization, data management, etc.
• Support key technology initiatives including ongoing multi-year ERP upgrade and global indirect tax engine implementation
• Ensure effective internal control environment for tax technology applications and facilitate internal and external reviews / audits
• Develop, foster and manage collaborative relationships with tax technology vendors, consultants and internal partners
• Manage tax technology team responsible for administration of user access rights, application updates/upgrades, troubleshooting and technical support of tax technology applications
• Responsible for tax technology team development, including coaching and mentoring of personnel

 

Job Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
• 10 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and competency.
• Broad-based knowledge of global direct and indirect taxes
• Experience with implementation of tax technology solutions, including design, development, implementation, change management, etc.
• Excellent personal communications skills and ability to work in team environment a must.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S4 ERP system, OneSource, Hyperion, Alteryx, Power BI
• Applicable tax, technology and/or project management professional certification(s) preferred
