About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE                                 

Holcim is seeking a full-time Credit and Collections Administrator for its office in Addison, Texas, to work with the credit team.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING                          

  • Support the credit application process by reviewing and verifying credit information.
  • Keep customer account records up-to-date, including payment history and balances.
  • Track accounts receivable bad debt aging and follow up on overdue accounts through various channels.
  • Draft and send collection demand letters to customers before legal or agency action.
  • Collaborate with the credit manager to develop strategies for reducing delinquent accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with state lien and bond statutes, including the accurate filing of claims.
  • Assist in preparing financial and legal packets and reports for credit and collections.
  • Provide administrative support to the Credit team through tasks like filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Other duties as assigned

                     
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR       

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Required Work Experience: Prior experience in credit and collections or a similar administrative role is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and GETPAID.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage challenging customer conversations.
  • Office setting within a corporate work environment.
  • Regular interaction with departments such as sales and customer service to resolve account issues.

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
