SCHOOL OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY is a highly ranked, accredited program in the College of Health Sciences. TWU currently offers OTD (entry) and PhD in Occupational Therapy degrees in a rich scholarly environment. We are seeking a research-focused individual for a tenure-track 9-month position for the Denton campus as an Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include research production, participation in service, teaching in the entry-level program, and eventual direction of post-professional program scholarship. Desired Qualifications:

  • An active line of research, funding and publication
  • Occupational therapy practice experience
  • Clinical experience in upper-extremity rehab, assistive technology, or older adults is a plus
  • Desire to participate on the Fieldwork or Capstone team is also highly favored

Required Qualifications:

  • An earned academic research doctorate (PhD or equivalent)
  • Minimum two years occupational therapy practice, teaching experience preferred
  • Eligibility for occupational therapist licensure in the State of Texas
