Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Value Stream Integrator (VSI) to join our Value Stream Integration team supporting the Electronics Center of Excellence (ExCOE) in Huntsville, Alabama.

We’re looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing’s Patriot Advanced Capability Center of Excellence (CoE) — an integral part of the world’s most advanced air defense system. Recently, the CoE, in association with the PAC-3 product, was honored as the 2025 “Coolest Thing Made in Alabama:” in the statewide Manufacturing Madness competition.  

Position Responsibilities:

• Integrate & facilitate cross-functional engagement through the value stream (Work Induction, Manufacturing, Shipping, Closeout, etc.)

• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

• Lead efforts to develop & document process standards

• Focal for Work Induction activities (admin, facilitation, reporting)

• Oversight of ExCOE demand requirements; aid VSI teammates as needed to ensure requirements are updated and/or maintained

• Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific business operations

• Knowledge share Earned Value Management (EVM) related tools and practices as needed to assist VSI teammates (e.g. development of Estimates to Completions (ETC), Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, etc.)

• Participate in regularly scheduled Business Performance Reviews

• Coordinate / Facilitate Customer visits as required

• Support the organization to implement strategies and plans

• Works under consultative supervision

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 7+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

• 7+ years of experience in cost, schedule and technical management

• 7+ years of experience in partnering with cross-functional teams

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook Excel, PowerPoint

• Experience leading and participating in meetings using Microsoft Teams

• Experience implementing Lean Principles

• Working knowledge of Boeing systems (MESci / NCM, BRAIDSS, Compass Contract, BESSY, etc.)

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 9+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.

• 9+ years of experience leading various problem solving methods (i.e. Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, or other assessment, audit and investigative models).

• 9+ years of experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track performance to plan for a business/organization.

• 9+ years of experience employing Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques either as a project manager, control account manager, or control account manager assistant.

• 9+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, program management, project management and/or business operations.

Shift:

This position is currently scheduled for A shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm. As business conditions change, the selected candidate should be able to work any shift as needed.
